Construction

Construction was done by measuring the stock balsa wood strips and marking the length needed for the part being manufactured. A hobby hacksaw was used to cut the parts to length. Wood glue was used to adhere the parts to one another to form the bridge and articulation tower.

Stock balsa wood was measured to length in millimeters and marked for cutting.

Manufacturing the bridge and tower members was done by using a hobby hacksaw to cut balsa members to length.

To construct the truss, the balsa wood members were glued together. Tape held the members in place while the glue set, and was removed after.
